Guatemala Concepción El Sendero

From: €10,75

Its mind-boggeling to think of how much great coffee is produced that’s unable to reach the market because of difficult infrastructure. The El Sendero cooperation has been building possibilities for the farmers in the region to more easily get their high quality cherries to eager roasters like us overseas. They have been improving year by year and its showing how great this specific region is for classic and easy going profiles. This one is particularly nice with red apple, grapes and apricot in a honey base.

been able to accomplish. El Sendero Cooperative provides coffee producers support and information around Concepcion Huista in Huehuetenango region. The cooperative was formed in 2016 and it has grown rapidly. It currently serves 659 members, of which 350 produce coffee. The cooperative now operates its own receiving warehouse in order to make it easier for its members to reach the market with their high quality coffees.
