Colombia Antioquia La Camelia

From: 11,40

Coming from a family of coffee producers Carlos has the opportunity to produce coffee on his fathers farm. While he has some promising ideas for the coming years he is already producing an incredible tasting coffee. Something not too typical for a Colombian lot, it has intense flavors of red fruits with citrus packaged in a structured and tight base, on top are some florals and bright verbena.

A note from our supplier, Nordic Approach:

Carlos is a second-generation coffee producer, who works on his father’s farm, La Camelia. He would like to invest in some improvements on the farm, such as building facilities for the workers he employs, building drying beds, and find ways to have more control over the humidity level.

The main crop is harvested during September and October. The fly crop (in Mitaka) goes from March to April.

Cherries are hand-picked with the help of 4 – 12 employees. This unique coffee is floated, then fermented in tanks and dried on a marquesina and mechanical drier.

Our coffee comes in craft paper bags which contain a plastic liner on the inside to guarantee freshness of our coffee. Please dispose properly at your local plastic trash container. The Village Coffee is roasted fresh every week, and best consumed within four weeks after roast date. Store your coffee in a dry, dark and cool place, avoid the fridge.
